The
Michigan Public Health Code
requires that each ambulance service operate under the direction
of a Medical Control Authority (MCA). These MCA's are created
by area hospitals and each MCA has a Medical Director who
is responsible for the clinical care.
CEMS Medical Transport operates under the supervision of the Berrien
and Van Buren Medical Control Authority Medical Directors
respectively.
